12 oz mushrooms, trimmed & cut into 1/2-inch
pieces
1/2 tsp freshly ground black pepper
2 cloves garlic, minced
1/4 tsp freshly ground nutmeg
2 Tbs all-purpose flour
1 cup chicken broth
1 cup half-and-half
